Sporting Fashion

In this module, I looked at how fashion changed over thirty years in the nineteenth century. I was given the shooting outfit costume from Sporting Fashion to research and recreate. I created my own patterns by both flat drafting and cutting on the stand, which helped me learn more about historical shapes and how garments were made. My finished costume shows my attention to detail, research into the period, and ability to solve problems creatively while working with historical methods.
